ナイジェリアで125人殺害、少女拉致したイスラム過激派の犯行か

［マイドゥグリ（ナイジェリア） ７日 ロイター］ - カメルーンとの国境に近いナイジェリア北東部で５日、武装したイスラム過激派の銃撃により少なくとも１２５人が殺害された。警察が７日明らかにした。

警察は、先週女子生徒２００人以上を拉致したイスラム過激派ボコ・ハラムによる犯行とみている。

武装集団は混雑する市場で銃を乱射した。住宅への放火や刃物による殺害も報告されており、死者数は少なくとも１２５人に達している。

女子生徒の拉致が明らかになって以来、ナイジェリア政府に対しては救出への協力を申し出る動きが広がっている。米国は、ナイジェリア政府が米軍および民間の専門家による支援を受け入れたと発表。英仏も協力を表明している。

ボコ・ハラムによる相次ぐ襲撃事件は、７日から首都アブジャで開催される世界経済フォーラムのアフリカ会合に影を投げかけている。ナイジェリア政府当局者は、会合がアフリカ最大の経済国である同国への投資促進の機会となることを期待していた。
