MERS、韓国の死者5人に　感染64人、ソウルで拡大

韓国政府は7日、中東呼吸器症候群（MERS）コロナウイルスに感染していた男性が死亡したと発表した。韓国でMERSによる死者は5人目。感染者も14人増え、計64人になった。

重い肺炎などを引き起こす中東呼吸器症候群（MERS）コロナウイルスの感染者が増えている韓国で、新たに14人の感染が確認され、このうち男性1人（75）が死亡した。韓国保健福祉省が6月7日に発表した。感染者は死者は5人を含む64人となった。47NEWSなどが伝えた。

新たに確認された１４人のうち、死亡した男性を含む１０人は首都ソウル市の大型病院での３次感染で、同病院の感染者は医師２人を含む計１７人になった。医師のうち１人が、地域の行事などに参加し不特定多数と接触したことも判明しており、首都で感染が拡大する恐れが出てきた。

韓国政府は感染者に接触した人などを医療機関や自宅に隔離する措置を取っている。また、国民に対して、マスクの着用や手洗いを呼びかけている。
