オスプレイ、5機410億円　アメリカが日本に売却決定「輸送機の近代化につながる」

米国防総省は１４日、新型輸送機Ｖ─２２オスプレイについて、第１弾として５機を日本に売却することで日本政府と最終的な合意に達したと発表した。５機分で約４１０億円。

米国防総省は１４日、新型輸送機Ｖ─２２オスプレイについて、第１弾として５機を日本に売却することで日本政府と最終的な合意に達したと発表した。売却額は５機分で３億３２５０万ドル（約４１０億円）。

オスプレイが外国に販売されるのは初めてのケースで、日本が最初の輸入国になった。オスプレイは、 ヘリコプターの垂直離着陸性能と固定翼機の飛行性能を併せ持つ。

日本は向こう数年にわたりオスプレイ計１７機を導入する方針で、英ロールスロイス製

米政府は、オスプレイの導入は日本にとって輸送機の近代化につながり、人道・災害救助能力を強化するとしている。［ワシントン １４日 ロイター］
