パラリンピック男子1500m（視覚障害）、4人がオリンピック金メダル記録を超える

9月11日（現地時間）に行われたリオ・パラリンピック男子1500メートル（T13視覚障害）で、アブデラティフ・バカ選手が世界記録の3分48秒29で優勝した。

この記録は、リオ・オリンピック男子1500メートルの金メダル記録3分50秒を上回る。つまり、バカ選手がもし8月に同じ競技場で行われたリオ・オリンピックに出ていたら、金メダルに輝いたことになる。

バカ選手だけではない。2位のタミル・デミッセ選手は3分48秒49 、3位のヘンリー・カーワは3分49秒59選手、4位のフォーダ・バカ選手（アブデラティフの弟）は3分49秒84でゴールし、4人がリオ・オリンピック金メダル記録を上回った。

試合後のインタビューでバカ選手は「金メダルをとるのは、簡単ではありません。約2年間、休まずに練習していますが、練習は本当に大変です」と答えた。
