Alex Berg is a multimedia journalist specializing in LGBTQ commentary, national news and social justice topics.

Alex is an out bisexual and queer producer and on-air talent at HuffPost Video and a blogger at The Huffington Post. She produces videos on national news, feminism and race, and hosts segments about LGBTQ and social justice issues. She recently anchored HuffPost's Facebook Live coverage from the campaign trail. Outside of HuffPost, Alex is currently producing a feature length documentary on transgender representation in the media directed by Sam Feder.

In August of 2015, Alex produced a seven-part series on HuffPost Live on campus sexual assault anchored by Zerlina Maxwell, which featured President Obama's Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett and former Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano. In 2014, her coverage of the Bisexual White House Summit was nominated for a GLAAD Media Award.

Previously, Alex shot and produced short documentaries on the 2012 campaign trail and covered politics and entertainment for Beast TV at The Daily Beast. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, Newsweek, The Daily Beast, The Huffington Post and more.

In her free time, Alex plays roller derby with the Gotham Girls and mentors underserved teenagers through Girls Write Now.
