今年のボストン・マラソンは、忘れられないものになった。

爆破事件で2013年に3人が死亡、260人以上が負傷してから初めてのレースで、1983年以来初めてアメリカ人の男性が優勝した。

ボストンは自尊心、精神力、一体感を取り戻して再び活気づいた。ワシントン・ポスト紙のレポーターのWesley Lowery氏によってツイートされた一連の写真は、第118回ボストン・マラソンの精神を表現している。
