同性パートナーでも「家族割引」 KDDIが適用へ　いつから？

KDDI（au）は10月から、同性のカップルでも自治体が結婚に相当する関係と認める証明書があれば、携帯電話などの家族割引を適用する方針を固めた。

KDDI（au）は10月から、同性のカップルでも自治体が結婚に相当する関係と認める証明書があれば、携帯電話などの家族割引を適用する方針を固めた。auではこれまで、家族割引の適用には住民票などの証明書が必要とされており、同性カップルは対象外だった。今後はauと同様、LGBTの人たちを対象としたサービスが広がる可能性がある。NHKニュースなどが7月19日、報じた。

10月は、東京・渋谷区が、同性のパートナーに対して「結婚に相当する関係」と認める証明書を発行するとされている時期だ。産経ニュースによると、KDDIは性的マイノリティの権利を保障する世界的な機運の高まりを受け、民間業者としても対応が必要と判断したという。
