今から46年前の1970年3月14日、大阪府吹田市の千里丘陵で日本万国博覧会、いわゆる「大阪万博」が開幕した。プロデューサーは丹下健三。アジア初かつ日本で最初の国際博覧会となったこの展示会には、77カ国が参加した。9月13日までの183日間で、6400万人以上が入場した。
