上海モーターショー開幕 コンパニオン一掃、露出を問題視【画像集】

上海国際モーターショーが20日開幕。名物だった露出度の高い女性コンパニオンが今年は主催者の意向で禁止され、会場には各国の自動車メーカーの車の最新モデルだけが並んだ。

世界最大級の自動車展示会「上海国際モーターショー」が4月20日開幕した。名物だった露出度の高い女性コンパニオンが今年は主催者の意向で禁止され、会場には各国の自動車メーカーが出品する車の最新モデルだけが並んだ。毎日新聞などが報じた。

モーターショーでは展示車の横に立つ女性コンパニオンの服装の露出度が回を追うごとに高くなり、「子どもも来る会場にふさわしくない」と批判が高まっていた。このため、今回は主催者がコンパニオンの起用を禁止する通達を出した。

展示車の横に地味なビジネススーツ姿の係員が立つブースがある一方で、多くのメーカーのブースでは露出度は高くないもののコンパニオン風の女性も健在だ。彼女らは「販売コンサルタント」の呼び名で、車の性能などに関する試験を通過することが条件という。「販売コンサルタント」の女性の一人は「名前が何であろうとお客さまに関心を持ってもらう役割は同じです」と話した。

モーターショーでは、18カ国・地域の約2000社が約1300台を展示。トヨタなど日本の自動車メーカー各社は、世界最大の自動車市場である中国向けに開発した新型車を発表するなど攻勢を掛けている
