モルシ大統領退陣拒否 流血の事態も辞さない構え エジプト

ジプトのモルシ大統領は3日未明、反政府デモ側が要求している退陣を改めて拒否し、「自分は選挙で選ばれた正統な大統領だ。正統性を守るためには血を流す覚悟だ」と演説し、反政府デモ側との対決する姿勢を鮮明にした。

エジプトのモルシ大統領は3日未明、反政府デモ側が要求している退陣を改めて拒否し、「自分は選挙で選ばれた正統な大統領だ。正統性を守るためには血を流す覚悟だ」と演説し、反政府デモ側との対決する姿勢を鮮明にした。時事通信が伝えた。

NHKによると、モルシ大統領は国営テレビでの演説で「民主的な選挙で選ばれた大統領の正統性は尊重されなければならない」と述べ、職務を続けることに理解を求める一方で「この正統性を侵そうとする行為は犯罪だ」とも述べ、介入の方針を示している軍を強くけん制した。

イスラム組織ムスリム同胞団を母体とする与党の幹部は、2日、声明を出し、「軍のクーデターを阻止するためには、殉教者を出すこともいとわない」として、軍の介入を阻止するためには流血の事態も辞さない構えを示している。

一方で、大統領を支える政権幹部の辞任が相次いでいる。共同通信によると、大統領府報道官や内閣報道官らが相次いで辞表を提出。2日の閣議ではシシ国防相、イブラヒム内相らが欠席し、側近や閣僚の離反によりモルシ政権の求心力は急速に低下している。

エジプト軍が大統領側と反政府デモ側の対立が解消されなければ介入するとした期限は3日午後5時(日本時間4日午前0時)。産経新聞によると、反政府勢力との政治危機を打開できない場合、モルシ氏を退陣させて大統領に代わる評議会を設置し、その後、新憲法制定、大統領選を実施するとのロードマップ(行程表)をまとめた。エジプト情勢をめぐる緊迫度は最高潮に達している。
