ドナルド・トランプ氏の大統領就任式翌日にあたる1月21日、アメリカ・ワシントンD.C.を中心に全米で「女性の権利」を訴えるデモが計画されている。
ワシントンD.C.だけで、20万人近くが参加すると予想されているこのデモで、参加者たちは女性蔑視発言を繰り返してきたトランプ氏の大統領就任に反対する。
歌手のケイティ・ペリーやシェールなどの有名人が参加を表明しているが、過激な発言やSNS投稿で知られるマドンナが、驚くようなツイートで参加を表明して話題になっている。
マドンナは「Just Do It（やるしかない）」「100万人のデモ！！参加して！！」と呼びかけるともに、写真を投稿した。「Just Do It」を企業スローガンに掲げているナイキのマークに陰毛を整えたものが写っている。
SNS上では賛否両論が飛び交っているが、21日のデモを前に、大勢の人たちの注目を集めていることは間違いない。
ちなみに、写真がマドンナ本人の陰部かどうかは、今のところ明らかになっていない。
