エリザベス女王の91歳の誕生日を祝う公式行事が6月17日に開かれ、英国王室のメンバーが勢ぞろいした。バッキンガム宮殿の前には、女王の姿を一目見ようと国民や観光客が詰めかけた。
集まった人たちの視線は、赤いサスペンダーに白いシャツ姿のジョージ王子とピンクの花柄のドレス姿のシャーロット王女に注がれた。
この2人の表情が、なんとも愛らしい。

エリザベス女王は、テロや火災が相次いだことを受けて、「団結して負傷者や遺族を支えましょう」と異例の声明を発表。2016年の蛍光緑のドレスとは違う、上品な水色のドレスで出席した。
