クリスマスが近づき、街が色とりどりのイルミネーションで彩られる季節になりました。

街路樹や建物のライトアップ、ロウソクなど、イルミネーションの種類はさまざま。光の芸術を見に、街へ繰り出してみましょう。

■街歩きが楽しくなるイルミネーション

1年で最も夜の街歩きが楽しくなる季節。それがクリスマスシーズンです。

東京・丸の内

冬枯れの並木道は、夜になるときらびやかに大変身。まるで宝石でドレスアップしたかのようです。

東京・銀座

クリスマスに合わせて、百貨店などの建物もクリスマスならではの装いをこらします。

建物がライトアップされたり、イルミネーションで彩られたりしたショーウィンドウを覗いて歩くのも楽しいものです。

■広がる光の草原

公園などの広場では、地面に広がるイルミネーションが見られるかもしれません。

光の草原を前にすると、夢の国に紛れ込んだかのような錯覚に陥ります。

山梨県富士吉田市・富士急ハイランド

横浜みなとみらい地区

キャンドルの灯りは、冴え冴えとしたLED電球とは違った趣で、ぬくもりを感じさせます。

冷たい風が吹くたびに揺れる炎は、風情がありますね。

東京・丸の内

色とりどりの灯りがぼんやりと夜の闇に浮かび上がる灯篭。実に幻想的な風景です。

■光り輝くオブジェたち

クリスマスイルミネーションの最大の見どころといえば、なんといってもクリスマスツリーですね。

豪華絢爛に飾りつけられた巨大なツリーを下から見上げると、思わず圧倒されます。

函館・金森赤レンガ倉庫付近

光り輝くオーナメントも素敵です。

都心には、こんなモダンなデザインのクリスマスツリーも。

東京・レインボーブリッジ

東京ミッドタウン

スポットによって、イルミネーションの色や形はさまざま。

たくさんのスポットをあちこち訪れて、見比べてみるのも楽しいですね。
