東西冷戦の象徴だった「ベルリンの壁」崩壊から25年を迎えたことを祝う催しが11月9日、ベルリン市内中心部であった。壁のブランデンブルク門がライトアップされた。

東西冷戦の象徴だった「ベルリンの壁」崩壊から25年を迎えたことを祝う催しが11月9日、ベルリン市内中心部であり、ブランデンブルク門がライトアップされた。旧ソ連のゴルバチョフ元大統領らがベルリンのクラウス・ボーベライト市長と握手を交わしたほか、歌手のピーター・ガブリエルさんらが公演した。
