ポツダム宣言「当然、安倍首相は読んでいる」 閣議決定　あの答弁は何だったの？

政府は6月2日の閣議で、「安倍首相はポツダム宣言を当然読んでいる」とする答弁書を決定した。

政府は6月2日の閣議で、「安倍首相はポツダム宣言を当然読んでいる」とする答弁書を決定した。産経ニュースなどが報じた。

ポツダム宣言は、第二次大戦末期の1945年7月26日、アメリカら連合国が日本への無条件降伏を勧告したもの。すでに敗戦したドイツのポツダムで発表された。安倍首相は5月20日の党首討論の際、共産党の志位和夫委員長に対して、ポツダム宣言を「つまびらかに読んでいない」と発言していた。

今回の答弁書は、維新の党の初鹿明博衆院議員の質問主意書に対する回答。初鹿議員の「一度も読んでいないのか。読んだことはあるが記憶に残っていないのか」という質問に対して、政府は「具体的な発言の通告が事前になされなかったため、（ポツダム）宣言の正確な文言を手元に有しておらず、そのような状況で具体的な文言に関する議論となったため、つまびらかではないという趣旨を申し上げた」と説明した。
