「世の中の役に立っている」と実感できる仕事とは？

「好きなことを仕事に選べば、生涯１日たりとも働かなくて済むであろう」というが、その好きな仕事が社会に貢献するものであれば、なおさら幸せな人生を送ることができる。自分が社会に貢献していると感じる仕事とは何だろう。

どんな仕事で働く人たちが「自分は仕事を通して世の中に役に立っている」と感じているのだろうか？ それを調べたのがアメリカの報酬調査会社「ペイスケール」だ。

ペイスケールは、社会に貢献していると感じているだけでなく、収入がアメリカの平均収入額を上回る仕事のトップ10を発表した。

収入が悪くなくて、世の中に役立っていると感じることができる仕事とは何だろう？

認定助産師

認定助産師の93%が、自分たちは有意義な仕事をしていると感じている。新たな生命を授かる瞬間の手助けをするという仕事の内容を考えると、この数字は驚きではない、とペイスケールはコメントする。
