2016年、富士山の山頂が太陽によって光り輝く様子をとらえた「ダイヤモンド富士」が、Twitterに投稿されている。

「ダイヤモンド富士」は、朝日や夕日が富士山の山頂付近に重なるとダイヤモンドのように輝くことから、その名が付けられたという。

元日から3日までに投稿された、美しい「ダイヤモンド富士」の一部を紹介しよう。

富士山写真家のhashimukiさんは、「ダイヤモンド富士」が現れる様子を動画で紹介している。
