ライフネット生命保険は10月29日、死亡保険金の受取人に、条件を満たした同性のパートナーを指定できるようにすると発表した。
これまで受取人は、戸籍上の配偶者か2親等内の親族が原則で、事実婚も異性なら認めてきた。11月4日からは、同居を証明する住民票やお互いの直筆書面を出せば、同性のパートナーも受取人として認める。場合によって面談して判断するという。
東京都渋谷区や世田谷区が結婚に相当する関係と認める書類の発行を決めるなど、公的にも家族ととらえる動きが広がっている。他生保では、日本生命保険が渋谷区が発行する同性パートナーシップ証明書があれば、受取人として認める予定だという。
