トーマス・バタシー校は、4歳〜13歳までの子供たちが学ぶ共学校だ。初等科、中等科、高等科の3つにわかれていて、4歳のジョージ王子は5歳になるまで、準備クラスにあたる「レセプション」で学ぶ。
トーマス・バタシー校のウェブサイトによると、同校は「思いやり」「礼儀ただしさ」「自信」「謙虚」「奪うことではなく与えること」に重きを置いた教育をしている。

初登校には、母親のキャサリン妃も同行する予定だったが、つわりがひどかったためウィリアム王子のみが付き添った。
