同性愛者が多く集う米国フロリダ州オーランドのナイトクラブで死者49人を出す事件があったばかりだが、今回のウィリアム王子の活動は世界中のLGBT（性的マイノリティ）のコミュニティを勇気づけそうだ。
表紙には、笑顔のウィリアム王子の写真の横に「性的志向であれ他の理由であれ、いじめられることがあってはならない」という王子の言葉が掲載される。
ウィリアム王子は同誌のマシュー・トッド編集長との対談の中で「性的指向のせいでいじめを受けている人が、この記事を読んだら、我慢せずに信頼できる大人か友達か教師か支援団体に相談して欲しい。あなたがたは自分を誇りに思うべきで、恥じることは何もない」と話したという。
ウィリアム王子は5月12日に、LGBT（性的マイノリティ）の人々をケンジントン宮殿に招き、いじめに遭った体験に耳を傾けていた。
