雨が降った後に突然姿を現して、心の中まで明るくしてくれる虹。
だけど、こんなに美しく丸い虹にはなかなかお目にかかれない。
この完璧な虹は、航空写真家のキャメロン・ブルックス氏がオアフ島上空から撮影した。柔らかい緑の山と、どこまでも広がる青い海を背景にした、美しい七色のリングだ。
「天気がよくない時が、写真を撮る絶好のタイミングということもあります。土砂降りの雨が降る夕暮れに飛び立つと、予想もしていなかったような素晴らしい景色に遭遇できる時もあるんです」とハワイの姿を撮影し続けるブルックス氏は語る。
ちょっと曇り空な気分の時に、彼が撮影した虹やハワイの自然を眺めてみよう。きっと明るい気持ちになれるから。
