TPP首席交渉官協議進む、閣僚会合開催は状況次第

グアムで１６日から開かれている環太平洋連携協定（ＴＰＰ）交渉の首席交渉官会合は、労働、貿易の技術的障害、知的財産権の取り扱いなどについて協議が進んでいる。

グアムで１６日から開かれている環太平洋連携協定（ＴＰＰ）交渉の首席交渉官会合は、労働、貿易の技術的障害、知的財産権の取り扱いなどについて協議が進んでいる。ＴＰＰ政府対策本部の渋谷和久内閣審議官が明らかにした。

今回の首席交渉官会合を受けて閣僚会合を開催するかどうかについては、協議の進捗や米議会での大統領貿易促進権限（ＴＰＡ）法案の成立に向けた動きなどをみながら判断されるという。

ＴＰＡ法案の成立は、参加１２カ国閣僚会議でＴＰＰ交渉が大筋合意に至るための前提条件とみられている。

渋谷審議官によると、ＴＰＡが成立していない段階で、進捗状況の確認だけのために閣僚会合を開くべきではないと思っている参加国が多いという。

首席交渉官会合は、１５─２５日の日程で開催される予定だったが、現地に台風が接近したため、開始が１６日に遅延された。
