タレントのKABA.ちゃんが7月13日、フジテレビ系「ノンストップ！」の取材に対して、戸籍変更を目指して整形手術を受け、今後海外で性別適合手術（性転換手術）も受ける予定であることを明らかにした。スポニチなどが報じた。
KABA.ちゃんは、2014年に睾丸摘出手術を受け、ホルモン治療も受けていることを告白。女性らしい顔にするための鼻筋を真っすぐにして小鼻を上げるなど整形手術も受けたという。
今後は戸籍を含めた完全性転換に向けて、性別適合手術を前提に、8月に海外でカウンセリングを受ける予定であることを明らかにした。
性別変更を決意した理由について「体が変わるなら戸籍も変えたい」として、「もともと自分が男性で生まれてきたことに違和感を感じていた。最終的に女性として死ねたらいいなと思います」と思いを吐露した。
友人で番組コメンテーターのLiLiCoさんも「ここまで気持ちがあるなら応援したい」とエールを送った。
