Melinda Buckley is a writer, comedian and actress who’s performed on a wide variety of stages over the course of her career. As a performer she sang and danced her heart out on Broadway, as a comedian she performed Improv and stand-up all over the city and as a writer, she’s written two plays and three solo shows. The most recent being ‘MOTHER (and me)’ which went from the New York Fringe Festival to Off-Broadway development to Regional theaters across the country. Passionate about storytelling, she’s developed her own program, One Up! Solo to help aspiring solo performers develop their own shows. Melinda is also a freelance creative director who has written numerous commercial and corporate events for a wide range of Fortune 500 companies. A recent favorite was a CBS promo for Girl Power which aired during SuperBowl 2019 and was named one of the top ten ads by Paste magazine.
