外資系化粧品メーカーのラッシュジャパン（LUSH）は6月24日から、誰もが平等に愛する権利を得られる社会を目指すことを目的とした、LGBTなどの性的マイノリティ支援キャンペーン「＃GAYISOK ゲイ・イズ・オーケー・キャンペーン」を展開している。
「#GAYISOK キャンペーン」では、キャンペーン用の限定ソープ「愛する権利」（650円）を世界中のLUSH店舗やオンラインで販売。売上から製造原価と消費税を除いた総額25万ポンド（約4500万円）を、世界のLGBT活動団体に寄付するという。
実施店舗では「もし、あなたが誰かを愛することが犯罪だとしたら？」という問いかけを展示。限定ソープを持ったセルフィー（自撮り）の写真をハッシュタグ「#GAYISOK」をつけて、TwitterやInstagramなどのSNSで発信することで参加できる。
欧米では、アイルランドが5月、国民投票によって同性婚を認める憲法改正を決めた。アメリカも6月26日、連邦裁判所がアメリカ全土で同性婚の権利を認める判決を下すなど、LGBTや同性婚をめぐる法整備が進んでいる。一方、世界76カ国では、同性間の性行為を禁じる刑法があり、中には終身刑や禁固刑、死刑を科す国もあるという。
