アメリカ同時多発テロで倒壊したニューヨークの世界貿易センタービル跡地に建設された超高層ビル「ワン・ワールド・トレード・センター」の展望台が20日に報道関係者に公開された。

ニューヨークの世界貿易センタービル跡地に建設された超高層ビル「ワン・ワールド・トレード・センター」の展望台が完成し、5月20日に報道関係者に公開された。世界貿易センタービルは、2001年のアメリカ同時多発テロで倒壊した。ロイターなどが報じた。

展望台はビルの100─102階にあり、地上からの高さは約400メートル。床から天井まで広がる大きな窓からはニューヨーク市街が一望できる。

来場者を102階まで47秒で運ぶ「スカイポッド」と呼ばれるエレベーター5基では、ニューヨークの発展を再現した映像が楽しめ、倒壊前の世界貿易センタービルの姿も見ることができる。一般公開は今月29日から。
