イギリス・ロンドンで6月11日、4月に90歳になったエリザベス女王の公式誕生会が開かれた。エリザベス女王は緑の衣装をまとい、恒例のパレードに参加。その後、住まいであるバッキンガム宮殿のバルコニーに、チャールズ皇太子、ウィリアム王子、キャサリン妃らと姿を見せ、イギリス空軍による儀礼飛行を観覧した。ジョージ王子、シャーロット王女もお目見えした。ハフポストUK版などが報じた。

エリザベス女王の誕生日は4月21日だが、天気の良くなる6月に祝賀行事が行われるのが慣例。1985年の祝賀行事でも、バッキンガム宮殿には皇室が勢ぞろい。エリザベス女王は、チャールズ皇太子やダイアナ妃、ウィリアム王子、ハリー王子などが立ち、儀礼飛行を観覧した。
