日本郵便提供
52円の郵便切手やはがきが6月1日、62円に値上げされる。価格改定が間近に迫った5月15日、全国の郵便局では新しい料金の切手とはがきの販売が始まった。
■62円切手、デザインはどう変わった？
62円普通切手のデザインは3種類。旧料金（52円）と同じソメイヨシノ、扇面に梅文様、花文様のデザインを採用しているが、62円切手では背景などの色が変わっている。日本郵便の広報担当者によると、切手のデザインは「利用者に親しまれるものを基本」としているという。

■23年ぶりに郵便料金値上げへ
日本郵便は2017年1月下旬、はがきや定型郵便物などの料金を6月1日から引き上げると発表。人件費が上昇する一方で利用者が減っており、値上げによって黒字維持を図る。消費税増税に伴う実施を除けば、郵便料金の値上げは、1994年1月以来、約23年ぶりとなる。
