バーニーズニューヨークは、マンハッタンに1923年に創業した百貨店で、紳士服、婦人服、雑貨、化粧品などを中心に、斬新かつ最先端の商品を調達、販売することで定評がある。

現在日本では、バーニーズジャパンが、バーニーズニューヨークを10店舗(アウトレットの5店舗を含む)展開している。

バーニーズジャパンの2013年2月期の売上高は195億円。セブンは、2014年2月期の連結業績に与える影響は軽微だが、中長期的に業績の向上につながるとしている。
