「ムリーヤ」とはウクライナ語で「夢」の意味で、1980年代にソ連のスペースシャトル「ブラン」を輸送するために開発された。6基のエンジン搭載する世界最大の輸送機で、全長84m、全高18.1m、全幅88.4m、空虚重量（燃料抜きでの機体重量）は175トン。最大離陸重量は600トンで、200トンの貨物を積載した状態で4000kmまで航続できる。

The Russian aircraft, known as \"Mriya,\" was delivering a 150 ton electric power transformer from Istanbul, Turkey. The cargo plane has six engines, a payload capacity of 250 tons and a wingspan of 290 feet - almost 80 feet wider than a Boeing 747.
