トルコの首都アンカラの中心部で2月17日、大きな爆発があり、これまでに兵士や市民28人が死亡、61人が負傷した。

トルコの首都アンカラの中心部で2月17日、大きな爆発があり、これまでに兵士や市民28人が死亡、61人が負傷した。現場周辺は政府や軍の施設が集中し、常に厳重な警備態勢が敷かれている場所だった。トルコ政府は軍関係者を標的にしたテロ攻撃とみているが、これまでのところ犯行声明などは出ていない。ロイターなどが報じた。

朝日新聞デジタルによると現場は軍の参謀司令本部から約300メートル、国会や内務省からは約500メートルで、首都の中枢といえる場所だった。

現地時間の午後6時半ごろ、帰宅する兵士らを乗せたバスの車列が交差点で信号待ちをしている時に近くで爆発があった。6台の車列に爆発物を積んだ車が接近して爆発したとみられる。クルトゥルムシュ副首相は「周到に計画された犯行だ」と述べたという。

トルコ政府は2015年夏以降、過激派組織「イスラム国」(IS)へのシリア領内での空爆と、トルコ南東部でのクルド人武装組織の掃討作戦を強化。それ以降、トルコでは市民や治安関係者を狙った爆弾攻撃が相次いでいる。アンカラでは2015年10月、100人以上が死亡する自爆テロ事件が起きていた。
