イギリス王室のウィリアム王子夫妻は6月6日、長女・シャーロット王女の写真を5月の誕生後、初めて公開した。
王室のTwitterによると、母のキャサリン妃が5月中旬、一家が暮らすロンドン北東部の王室の邸宅で撮影した。全部で4枚あり、真っ白なベビー服に身を包んだシャーロット王女は、兄のジョージ王子（2013年7月生まれ）に抱かれ、額にキスされて嬉しそうな表情を見せたり、しっかり目を見開いたりしている。
シャーロット王女は5月2日にロンドン市内の病院で生まれた。7月5日にキリスト教に入信するため洗礼を受ける。
