毒餃子事件、呂月庭被告に無期懲役 政治権利の終身剥奪も

2008年に発覚した中国製の冷凍ギョーザを食べた日本人10人が中毒を起こした事件の判決公判が1月20日に中国・河北省で開かれ、裁判所は、ギョーザに殺虫剤を混入した罪に問われていた製造会社の臨時従業員・呂月庭被告(39)に無期懲役と政治権利の終身剥奪の判決を言い渡したという。

日本で2008年1月に発覚した中国製ギョーザ中毒事件で、河北省石家荘市の中級人民法院(地裁)は20日、危険物質混入罪に問われた製造元食品会社「天洋食品」の元臨時従業員、呂月庭被告(39)に対し、無期懲役と政治権利の終身剥奪の判決を言い渡した。

この事件では、中国の食品加工会社、天洋食品が製造した冷凍ギョーザを食べた千葉と兵庫県の家族と中国国内で食べた14人が中毒症状を起こしていた。呂被告は正社員との賃金格差に不満を募らせていたという。

2008年1月に発覚したこの事件では、中国・河北省の食品加工会社、天洋食品が製造した冷凍ギョーザを食べた千葉県と兵庫県の男女と中国国内で食べた中国人の合わせて14人が食中毒の症状を訴え、このうち日本人1人は一時、重体になりました。



今回の事件は、多くの加工食品を中国から輸入している日本に大きな衝撃を与え、日中の間で外交問題にも発展したほか、中国製の食品の安全が問われるきっかけの1つになりました。

裁判官は「犯行は計画的」として、情状酌量を求めた弁護側の主張を退けたという。

「犯行は計画的。不特定多数の人々に健康被害を与えた極めて悪質な行為だ」とした。さらに事件で製造元の「天洋食品」(石家荘市)に約550万元(約9400万円)の経済的損害を与えたとし、呂被告の政治的権利も生涯にわたり剝奪(はくだつ)するとした。

菅官房長官は20日午前の会見で「再発防止の対策など対策が講じられることを期待したい」などと以下のようにコメントしたという。

「わが国の国民が被害を受けた食の安全に関わる事案だったので、真相を究明し、こうした事件が2度と起こらないよう、再発防止の対策が講じられることを期待したい」
