中国の「抗日戦争勝利70周年」を祝う軍事パレードは9月3日、北京の天安門広場で行われ、30カ国の首脳を含む49の政府・国際機関代表が参観した。
朝日新聞デジタルによると、40種類以上、500超の車両や兵器と、200機以上の航空機が登場した。うち84％が初公開といわれる。ロシアやモンゴルの儀仗隊などもパレードに参加した。
