もしも毎朝飲むコーヒーが透明だったら....便利？それとも変な感じ？
イブニングスタンダードによると、スロバキアの企業「CLR CFF」が新商品を開発した。
スロバキア人で、現在はロンドンに在住のデイビッドとアダム兄弟は、取材に対してこれは「世界初の透明なコーヒー」だと話している。
「私たち兄弟はコーヒー愛好家。でも他の愛好家と同じように、歯に付着する汚れに悩まされていました。しかし、この悩みを解消する商品はマーケットになかった。それが私たちがこの商品を開発しようと思った理由です」
一体どんな味なのか？「クリアコーヒー」は透明だが、カフェインを含んでいて、味はジャワコーヒーのようだという。foodbevによる兄弟へのインタビューによると、原料はアラビカコーヒー豆、通常より苦味が少ないが新鮮な味わい、香りが良いのだという。
「物理的な方法で透明にされていて、化学物質は使っていない」と兄弟は取材に語っている。
公式サイトによると、2本セットが5.99ポンド（約800円）、5本セットが14.99ポンド（約2000円）で販売されているが、ABCニュースによると現在のところ配送先はイギリスとスロバキア国内のみとなっている。
