BBCの人気ドラマ「SHERLOCK シャーロック」でシャーロック・ホームズ役を演じる人気俳優のベネディクト・カンバーバッチさん（38）が、2月14日のバレンタインデーに婚約者で舞台演出家のソフィー・ハンターさん（36）とイギリスで結婚した。時事ドットコムなどが、現地メディアの報道として伝えた。
結婚式は英南部のワイト島で執り行われ、近親者と親しい友人が参加した。
カンバーバッチさんはハンターさんと昨年１１月に婚約。ハンターさんは現在妊娠している。
