イギリス王室は3月7日、ウィリアム王子一家のスキー休暇の写真を公開した。長女シャーロット王女が2015年5月に生まれてから初の家族4人での家族旅行で、ジョージ王子（2）が雪の中で遊ぶのも初めてだったという。時事ドットコムなどが報じた。
複数ある写真は先週、フランスのアルプス山中で撮影。雪が降る中、スキーウエアを着て笑顔を向ける４人の姿が写っている。ジョージ王子とシャーロット王女は初の雪遊びを体験したという。王室は声明で「（一家にとって）非常に特別で楽しい休暇」だったと述べた。
