「餃子の王将」大東隆行社長、撃たれ死亡 社員「みな、信じられない思い」

19日午前7時ごろ、京都市山科区西野山射庭ノ上(いばのうえ)町にある中華料理チェーン「餃子の王将」を展開する王将フードサービスの本社前で、同社の大東隆行(おおひがしたかゆき)社長(72)が拳銃のようなもので撃たれて倒れているのを、出勤してきた男性従業員が発見し、119番通報した。大東社長は病院に運ばれたが、死亡が確認された。

京都市消防局によると、社員が倒れている大東社長を発見し、119番通報したという。京都府警によれば、現場は従業員用の駐車場で、周辺に拳銃の薬きょうが落ちていた。

京都市消防局によると、大東社長は右胸1カ所と左脇腹2カ所の計3カ所から出血していた。救急隊員が到着した際、従業員が人工呼吸していた。


京都府警によると、現場は従業員用の駐車場で、警備員はおらず、誰でも自由に出入りできる場所だった。周辺に拳銃の薬きょうが複数落ちていた。犯人は拳銃を持って逃走しているとみられ、殺人事件として19日午後に捜査本部を設置する。

大東社長は、毎日午前6時半ごろに同区内の実家から自家用車で出勤。本社前を掃除するのを日課にしていたという。

近所の住民によると、大東社長は毎朝早くに本社前を長靴姿で掃除する姿で知られていた。土日にも午前中に会社に来て掃除や水まきをしていた。近所の女性は「社長なのに掃除をして感心していた」と話した。

全国の「餃子の王将」は、19日も通常通り営業する。同社の担当者は、事件の心当たりはないと語っている。

「王将フードサービス」の内田浩次経営企画部長は、「私も、ほかの社員もみな、信じられないという思いでいっぱいです。本人も会社も経営上のトラブルを抱えてはいないし、嫌がらせの電話やメールが来たということもなかったので、何者かに襲われるという事態は全く予想もしていませんでした。現場の仕事が大好きだった大東社長は、このような状況でも、残された私たちがしっかり業務をこなすことを望むでしょうから、それに応えていこうと思います」と話しています。

「王将フードサービス」は、大東社長の義兄・朝雄氏が1967年に創業。大東社長は2000年から現職で、デフレ下で「餃子の王将」を急成長させた立役者だった。

中華料理店「餃子の王将」は大東隆行社長の義兄で王将フードサービス(京都市)創業者の故・加藤朝雄氏が、昭和42年にオープン。東証1部上場。平成25年9月中間連結決算の売上高は374億円。全国に約500超の店舗を構える業界トップ中華レストランチェーン。
