この写真はタイのバンコクを訪れたブロガー・写真家のJesse Rockwellが撮影した。

ウェブサイト"Coconuts Bangkok"によると、このビルは1990年代後半、上層部の解体工事中に火災が発生し、廃墟になったという。

屋根が撤去されて雨水がたまり、2000年初めに養殖場で蚊の発生を抑えるため、少数のコイとナマズを放流した。今は「魚の王国」ともいうべき状態だ。
