稲田朋美氏、憲法改正は「草案は出してある」の一点張り 池上彰氏の質問に言葉を濁す

テレビ東京系で7月10日放送された選挙特番「池上彰の参院選ライブ」で、司会の池上彰氏が自民党の稲田朋美政調会長に憲法改正について質問したものの、全く話が噛み合わない一幕があった。

テレビ東京系で7月10日放送された選挙特番「池上彰の参院選ライブ」で、司会の池上彰氏が自民党の稲田朋美政調会長に憲法改正について質問した。池上氏が「公約に憲法改正の具体案をなぜ入れなかったのか?」と何度質問しても、稲田氏は「憲法改正の草案は出してある」の一点張りで、全く話が噛み合わない一幕があった。

池上氏と稲田氏の詳しいやり取りは以下の通り。

――自民党の政調会長ということですが、今回の選挙の公約にも政策に携われたと思いますが、憲法改正については最後の最後に小さく「これから考えます」などと書いてありました。自民党は憲法改正をずっと訴えてきた政党ですから、今回の選挙でも堂々と訴えれば良かったのでは?

我が党は憲法改正を党是としておりますし、書く場所は最後というのは国の形ということでちゃんと訴えています。

――憲法改正は、どの条文をどう変えるのかというのを訴えるのが選挙なのでは?

我が党は憲法改正の草案は出しています。むしろ(全議席の)3分の2(で発議)という「憲法改正そのものが悪である」ということだと議論はむしろ深まらないと思います。

――議席の3分の2を取ってから憲法改正を考えるということですか?

そういうことではなくて(野党は)「3分の2阻止」という考え方ですよね。一つ一つの憲法改正についての考え方を具体的に野党の方も示されないと議論は深まらないと思います。

――議論を深めるためにも「憲法のこういうところを変えます」と訴えるべきだったのでは?

私たちはこれまでも憲法草案は出してあります。たたき台は出していて、それに対して一つ一つ具体的な提案がないと、考えを示さない人たちとは議論は深まらないと思います。
