９日投開票のインドネシア大統領選は、選挙速報によると、開票率約９０％時点で、ジャカルタ特別州知事のジョコ・ウィドド候補が元陸軍戦略予備軍司令官のプラボウォ候補を約５％ポイントリードしている。
直接選挙で大統領を選ぶのはこれで３回目だが、過去に例のない接戦となっており、両陣営が勝利を宣言する事態となっている。
ジョコ・ウィドド候補を擁立した闘争民主党のメガワティ党首は、同候補の勝利を宣言。その後、プラボウォ候補も勝利宣言を行った。
過去の選挙では、民間の選挙速報の信頼度は高かった。公式結果の発表は今月２１━２２日で、２３━２５日が憲法裁判所への異議申し立て期間となる。［ジャカルタ ９日 ロイター］
