9月23日にYouTubeにアップロードされた動画のように、新しいiPhone 6 Plusは両手だけで思いっきり曲げることができる。そして、ああ、自然と元には戻らない。

YouTubeのレビューチャンネル「アンボックス・セラピー」が作った動画を見てみよう。

もちろん、何百ドルも費やした携帯電話をわざと折り曲げようしてはいけない。しかし、最新のiPhoneは、ちょっと力をかけると形が変わるほど曲がってしまうという報告が相次いでいる。

アップル社にコメントを求めているが、まだ回答はない。

「結論としては、アルミニウム製の携帯電話だから、圧力をかければ曲がってしまいます」とアンボックス・セラピーのルイス・ヒルセンテガー氏は動画の中で、新品のiPhone 6を折り曲げた後にそう述べている。後で彼はその携帯電話を曲げて通常の状態に戻そうと試みたと写真投稿アプリ「Instagram」に書いているが、うまくいったようには見えない。スクリーンは割れてしまった。
