［ワシントン １９日 ロイター］ - 米国防総省は１９日、昨年８月の軍事作戦開始以降、過激派組織「イスラム国」に対して行った空爆は２３２０回、費用は１８億３０００万ドル（約２２００億円）となったことを明らかにした。標的は、タンクや石油設備、戦闘拠点など数千カ所に及んだ。
有志連合全体では２８９３回で、米軍による攻撃は全体の８０％を占めた。うち１６３１回がイラク、１２６２回がシリアで行われた。標的は５３１４カ所。
イスラム国に対する有志連合には６０カ国以上が参加しており、イラクでの空爆は米国、オーストラリア、ベルギー、カナダ、デンマーク、フランス、ヨルダン、オランダ、英国が行った。
シリアでは米国、バーレーン、ヨルダン、サウジアラビア、アラブ首長国連邦（ＵＡＥ）が空爆を行っている。
