九寨溝の絶景「火花海」⇒ 大地震で水が消える 世界遺産に大ダメージ(比較画像)

8月8日に中国四川省で起きた大地震で、世界遺産の名勝「九寨溝(きゅうさいこう)」にある湖の一つ「火花海(かかかい)」が決壊して、水がほとんどなくなった。

火花海は標高2187メートルにある湖で、土石流が積み重なってできたと言われている。エメラルドグリーンの水を湛えており、夕日が反射するとキラキラと輝く様子が「火花が散るようだ」として、この名前がついた。

九寨溝の管理当局によると大地震で長さ50メートル、深さ12メートル、幅20メートルにわたり決壊。当局は「甚大な被害」と発表している。

四川省の地元紙「成都商報」の電子版は8月10日、地震後の火花海の空撮写真を掲載した。水がほとんどなくなっていることが分かる。
