見た目だけ0系新幹線、JR四国で復活

全国JRのなかで唯一、新幹線の導入計画が持ち上がっていないJR四国で、初代新幹線(0系)が走る。山陽新幹線で運転を最後に、2008年に姿を消した0系新幹線。JR四国は9月30日、この新幹線に外見を模したディーゼル車両を愛媛県と高知県を結ぶ予土線で運行すると発表した。

全国JRのなかで唯一、新幹線の導入計画が持ち上がっていないJR四国で、初代新幹線(0系)が走る

MSN産経ニュースによれば、この日本一遅い新幹線は、観光列車として来年3月頃から予土線窪川ー宇和島駅間を一両編成で走るという。車内には、鉄道模型のショーケースも展示するという。鉄道ファンらの人気を集めそうだ。

0系新幹線の最速220キロに対して、今回の見た目だけ0系新幹線は最速85キロ

JR四国の泉雅文社長は「JR東海の許可は得ている。新幹線の開業予定が唯一ない四国で、『一番遅い新幹線』を走らせたい」と抱負を語った
