キャサリン妃は10月18日、チャリティスポーツイベント「スポーツエイド・アスリート・ワークショップ」に出席、バレーボールの試合に参加した。キャサリン妃は脚にぴったりフィットした細身のスキニージーンズ（あるいはデニムレギンス？）に、ラルフ・ローレンのブレザーとボーダーシャツという装いで、2012年のロンドン・オリンピックでも見かけたように、彼女の普段着ファッションだ。

しかし、タイトなパンツはちょっと動きづらかったようで、バレーボールのプレー中は、飛び上がった後何度もパンツを引っ張り上げる仕草を見せていた。
