フィリピンのケンタッキーフライドチキン（KFC）が発表した新メニューが衝撃的だ。KFCは1月26日、地域限定かつ1日50食限定で発売される新メニューを発表した。その名は「Double Down Dog（ダブル・ダウン・ドッグ）」。“倍賭け”の名にふさわしい、チキンの中にソーセージが挟まれた肉好きにはたまらないメニューだ。
販売されるのはフィリピンだけ。それも1月26日〜27日の2日間だけの限定発売だ。この新メニューについてネットでは「人類に対する犯罪だ」「政府が販売を禁止しそう」などのコメントが投稿された。
なお、ダブル・ダウン・ドッグは26日にはすぐに売り切れとなり、フィリピンKFCのTwitterアカウントは「また明日」との挑戦的なコメントを投稿している。
