モデルで女優の水原希子（24）が2014年アジアで最も活躍したモデルに贈られる「SOHU FASHION AWARDS」で「アジアファッションアイコン大賞」を受賞し、12月23日、中国・北京で行われた授賞式に出席した。日本のモデルが同賞を受賞するのは初めて。産経ニュースなどが伝えた。
クリスタルガラスをあしらったヴェルサーチの特注ドレスに身を包み、登場した水原。両肩と胸元、脚線美をあらわにした1メートル68のスレンダーボディーが、レッドカーペットの照明でさらに輝きを増す。
水原は、多方面でアジアのファッション業界を牽引した著名人に贈られる「アジアファッションアイコン大賞」を受賞。中国9億人の投票でファッションリーダーに選ばれ、万感の思いを込めて中国語であいさつした。
