お笑い芸人の小籔千豊が3月30日、自身のTwitterに、新幹線でシートの背もたれを最大まで倒したため後ろの座席の人に怒られたことを明かした。
さらに「JRはどう思ってるんやろ」と記し、シートを倒す基準を客に任せるのではなく、JRが決めてほしいと次のように問題提起した。
さらに「恐怖」と綴るなど、ひどく怒られた様子を告白した。
小籔のこの投稿がTwitterでは議論になった。フォロワーからは「いゃ…倒してイイですよ! だって倒れるのですから! 怒られる筋合いなんてありません!」「怒る人なんかいるんですか?わたしもいつもリクライニングします。」と小籔に賛同する声もあれば、「後ろに人がいる場合は100°まで、いない場合は180°まで等々自動制御されれば小競り合いもおきにくいでしょうね」「いつもは『空気よめ』を連発する芸人さんなんだから、人のせいにせず、空気をよめばいいのでは?」というコメントもあった。
