教科書法の制定、自民党内で検討 「自虐史観にとらわれている」

自民党の教育再生実行本部は6月12日に特別部会を開き、教科書の記述や検定制度の在り方を包括的に示す「教科書法」の制定を検討していくことを決めた。同党が「自虐史観」とする記述を歴史教科書から排除するのが狙いの一つだ。この日の部会では「中間とりまとめ案」の素案を大筋で了承。今月下旬にも安倍晋三首相に提出する。教科書の内容に政府がどこまで介入するのかをめぐり、議論を呼びそうだ。

自民党の教育再生実行本部は、「自虐史観にとらわれたり、尖閣諸島の記述がない教科書がある」などとして、教科書検定の在り方などを定める「教科書法」の制定を目指す提言を取りまとめました。特に近現代史について、「学説が確定しない事項は確定的に記述をしない」などとしていて、政府が教科書の歴史認識に踏み込みかねない内容となっています。

ここで出てきた自虐史観とは、従軍慰安婦、南京事件といった諸説がある歴史上の事件について、被害を受けた側の国で有力な学説を採用することを指す。今回、教科書法の検討を決めた「教科書検定の在り方特別部会」では、特に南京事件に関する記述を問題視している。産経新聞では以下のように報道した。

同部会が教科書法の制定を検討する背景には、現行の教科書検定制度では、出所や出典を示せば事実関係が不確かな南京事件の犠牲者数も通過させている実態がある。これにより、中国側が主張する「３０万人説」も教科書記述として独り歩きしている。

同部会の主査を務める萩生田光一・衆院議員は、「何を教えてほしいかを明確に教科書会社に伝達し、それにのっとった教科書を作ってもらうようにしたい」と記者団に説明した。今回の教科書法制定の動きをめぐって、ネット上では賛否が分かれている。
